FIRST TRIP TO RUSSIA, AUGUST 1993

We flew into Russia in mid-August of 1993, and immediately headed for Red Square.

St. Basil's Cathedral over my right shoulder, one of the clock towers from the Kremlin over my right shoulder. Beyond St. Basil's you can see the Rossiya Hotel, an enormous building that was unfortunately torn down a couple of years ago.
